Bernhard Schulte organised a get-together for its Ladies Club members on June 13 in Mumbai. The function, held at The Beatle at Powai, was well-attended by the women fraternity of the Bernhard Schulte family.
The Ladies Club get-together every year gets good response and the participants agreed that June-July is the ideal time to conduct such events. Capt Singhal introduced his key team members to the audience and then left the function by handing over command to Ms. Kejal Joshi who had organised the event. Around 100 women and children had a jovial time, playing different games, painting, tattooing, and listening to music during the event.
The participants were then treated with a number of games by a games co-ordinator. The steady flow of mocktails with snacks and the foot tapping music by the DJ built up the tempo of the event. Children and ladies were given out prizes lavishly. There were separate games for the children and then there were games where adults and children could partake. Ladies from all age groups had a chance to catwalk and the best performing “models” out of the participants won prizes.... The events concluded as a sumptuous late lunch was laid out for the participants.
Their vision of the Ladies club meet is to bring together families of the seagoing staff so that they know each other and interact with each other when the officer is away on ships and to bind them with the company to have a relationship of sharing and caring.
