Bernhard Schulte shipmanagement (India) Pvt. Ltd organized the Schulte Ladies Club meet on 9th February 2008 at hotel Leela Kempenski. Benhard Schulte is the first ship management company to form this kind of club for the wives, mothers, daughters and children of the officers sailing with them.

Mr. B N Prasad, Capt. Rajiv Singhal, Capt. Rajesh Rai, Capt. Y M Misra and Mr. Ajit Unnikrishnan were present to open the function. They left after the introductions were made and the event was then managed by Mrs. Kejal Joshi Bhowar and Ms. Shruti Ghodke. There were many games organised for ladies and children. Various attractions like caricature, tattoo making, Jewelry making, Nail Art and hair colouring were put up. Lunch was followed by a round of Housie.

All the ladies and children thoroughly enjoyed the function and want to have such events more often. The fun & frolic mood was evident from the beginning and the tempo was maintained right till the end.

The Vision of the Schulte Ladies club is to “To create an environment for the wives to be proud of their husbands being seafarers and sailing with Benhard Schulte shipmanagement through dedicated service to all families in different states of India by bringing them together to form an everlasting bond and feeling of belonging to the company……”
